Helizona has been recognized by Robinson Helicopter Company (RHC) as
their appointed distributor and Service
Center in Indonesia since 1999. And has
been running its mission to generate
a market in Indonesia for light affordable aircraft. The aviation industry
is however often very intimidating to prospective operators or private
owners.
Helizona has committed itself to simplify and demystify all aspects
of helicopter ownership for individuals, companies and government agencies,
by providing all necessary services and facilities a prospective or active
helicopter owner would need, and integrating all these services and
facilities into a safe, simple and cost-effective package tailor-made for
each specific customer. This approach has proven to be a welcome change to a
market and industry which has long been infamous for its complexity and
inaccessibility.
Helizona has succeeded in becoming one of few other companies in Indonesia to hold an "Air Operator's Certificate" (A.O.C.), which allows us to operate commercial aircraft in the territory of Indonesia, Helizona's A.O.C. is applicable for "unscheduled flights", meaning we do not need to submit flight schedules and itineraries for approval, merely a flight plan is necessary for flights. Helizona has gone through considerable effort to obtain this very special certificate, so our customers do not need to obtain this permit for their operations. This makes operations much more cost-effective and convenient, and Customers can fly assured that Helizona's looking after their operations. No other air operator in Indonesia provides this service.
Helizona's operations and maintenance base is at the Lido Aerodrome, just outside of Jakarta. Complete with a heliport, a modern hangar and other facilities, Lido Base is one of a kind in Indonesia. The hangar includes a workspace for the assembly of helicopters, maintenance bays, workshops and a comprehensive array of high quality aviation tools and equipment. The office facilities accommodate our operational staff, and also our service library and training school.
