Air Operator Certificate Contract

Helizona is one of only few companies in Indonesia to hold a CASR 135 Air Operator Certificate for Unscheduled Rotorcraft. We are therefore legally allowed to operate rotorcraft for private and commercial VFR missions throughout the Republic of Indonesia and abroad. Helizona maintains the requisite levels of human resources, facilities and equipment to meet the stringent standards for an Air Operator Certificate, and participates in a variety of programs and schedules to stay current with industry standards and technology developments.

With an Air Operator Certificate Contract, customers can choose to simply add their aircraft on Helizona’s List of Endorsed Aircraft, and thus avoid the costs and complications involved with maintaining your own Air Operator Certificate.

 

The Air Operator Certificate Contract also includes “Administration Management” services, such as aircraft and engine logbook administration, crew scheduling and validity of all aircraft documents. Helizona will track and monitor all administrational aspects of an aircraft’s operations, including:

iii. Radio Permit Validity
iv. Weight and Balance Validity
v. Compass Swing Validity
vi. Logbooks and Flight Manifests
vii. Maintenance Records
viii. Service Bulletins, Service Letters, Airworthiness Directives

For existing aircraft operators with their own Air Operator Certificate, the Administration Management services are also available separately without the AOC contract.

Crew Contract (Pilot and/or Technician)

Helizona maintains an active record of aviation crew throughout Indonesia and abroad, complete with license status and experience levels. These pilots and engineers include individuals with experience in specialized operations such as VVIP transportation, utility applications, surveillance and long-line sling-load missions. For the customer who wants to learn to fly his/her own helicopter, we also have an extensive database of certified instructors and examiners whom are eligible to train the owner whilst operating the aircraft for day-to-day missions.

Aviation crew can be made available to our customers for long-term or short-term requirements, and the contract includes the crew’s certification, currency training, periodic medical and aptitude testing, insurance and eventual stay permits, as well as eventual allowances and housing.
 

Maintenance

Helizona is fully accredited by Robinson Helicopter Company and by the Indonesian Directorate General of Airworthiness to perform all maintenance, servicing and repair on Robinson Helicopters (R22 and R44) up to the 2,200 Hour overhaul.

Our maintenance facilities is fully equipped for maintenance of aircraft, and our equipment includes complete Robinson Helicopter tool sets and such special tools as helicopter lifting fixtures, precision testing equipment and even a state-of-the-art rotor blade balancer.
